If you're looking to strengthen your fantasy league this offseason, making moves before the NFL draft can be a great time to shake up your squad.

Here are some of the top NFL free agents to sign, swap, or dump before the NFL draft.

Free Agents to Sign

When scouting the top 2021 NFL free agents to sign, it's a good idea to look for players who are coming off a bad year and/or are moving to a better playing situation.

  • Jared Goff: The belabored former # 1 overall draft pick of the LA Rams has moved to Motown. Although the Detroit Lions will likely have a rough season next year, Goff is moving into a situation where he'll need to throw to play catch-up the entire season. Because Goff had such a terrible fantasy season in 2019-20, he's likely waiting to be signed off of waivers for free. Goff is undoubtedly one of the Top 2021 NFL Free Agents to sign this offseason.
  • Henry Hunter: The former Chargers' standout has been plagued by injuries for the past two seasons. In 2021, he'll don a Patriots jersey and see lots of two-tight end formations in Josh MacDaniel's innovative offensive scheme. Like Goff, Henry's inconsistent past two seasons probably mean that he's waiting to be scooped up off of waivers for free.

Free Agents to Swap

The NFL Draft has the tendency to make fantasy players get antsy. You can capitalize on this impulse to make quick trades on the cheap.

  • Sam Darnold: The former Jets' QB will suit up for the Carolina Panthers next year. With offensive weapons like Christian McCaffery, Robbie Anderson, and DJ Moore, Darnold will have the chance to stretch the field. If you're looking for a solid backup QB, you can't go wrong with Darnold.
  • Curtis Samuel: The former Panthers' hybrid receiver and running back, finds himself in Washington DC.  In most leagues, you can probably trade for Samuel for a veteran offensive weapon.

Free Agents to Dump

The average career of an NFL player can be incredibly brief. Knowing when to dump your fading fantasy players can help you make room for break-out options and rookies.

  • Ben Roethlisberger: Big Ben is no longer a viable starting NFL QB. Even though it might be tough, it's time to dump Roethlisberger.
  • Frank Gore: The ageless running back has been cut by the Jets. Similarly, you should part ways with him this offseason.
